    Peter Brown

    Position: Chair

    Peter has worked within senior public sector positions for over 30 years, including General Manager of Lane Cove Council (10 years) and various senior management positions in NSW Government including NSW Health, Premiers, Public Service Board and Juvenile Justice. He has tertiary qualifications in Education, Public Administration and Legal Studies and currently works as a consultant to Local Government.

    Joe Lopino

    Position: Deputy Chair/ Treasurer

    With twenty years in commercial and corporate finance, Joe has also held senior executive levels in transport and logistics, architectural specification and construction industries. Currently he is the Executive Director of the Australian Furniture Removers Association and Australian International Movers Association.
    Joe has a strong governance and advocacy background as graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

    Anthony Hogarth

    Position: Secretary (2016- )

    Anthony is an experienced lawyer having worked for over 14 years with a national law firm, global investment bank and peak sports body in Sydney and London. During his career, Anthony has advised numerous boards including asset management companies managing in excess of $30 billion and has worked with small to medium sized enterprises in the start-up and expansion phases of their growth. Anthony has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney.

    David Milne

    Position: Board Member (Chair 2011-2013, Secretary 2013- 2015)

    David currently works in the NFP sector as a Chief Financial Officer at New Horizons. His previous experience includes senior finance and project management roles in a number of companies ranging from small businesses through to multinational organisations.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from NSW University, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia, a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Chartered Secretary.

    Gordon Conn

    Position: Board Member (Chair 2013-2015)

    Gordon has been involved in education for in excess of 40 years. During that time he experienced the privilege of teaching in TAFE Vocational Education at  a senior level, Government and Private High Schools and Colleges. He is a keen supporter of Dual Accreditation Courses currently offered in NSW Schools which offer choice to students wishing to take an alternative tertiary path other than university.

    Rebecca Haagsma

    Position: Board Member

    Rebecca works for the Nine Entertainment Co, running Nine’s catch-up video business and suite of websites. She has had many years experience working as an executive in some of Australia’s leading publishing businesses, across print, digital, search and now TV. Rebecca specialises in leading teams through transformation using digital evolution as a lever to drive change. She has a Master of Arts (Political Science) from UNSW and is married to a secondary school teacher. They have 5 children together.
